If your child needs immediate medical attention and you cannot safely transport your child to the hospital, call 911 immediately.

Parents can call Ask-a-nurse — a 24/7 nurse advice line 317-338-KIDS (5437).

The Pediatric Emergency Department staff is not able to give medical advice over the phone.

If you suspect a child in the Indianapolis area is being abused or neglected call 1-800-800-5556.

St. Vincent Emergency Physicians (SVEP) work closely with Emergency Medical Services and the ONE Call Physician-to-Physician Patient Transfers system.

The referring physician can arrange for transport by calling ONE Call 317-338-5000.

StatGround™ is staffed with experts in maternal fetal medicine, neonatal critical care, and pediatric critical care. Our team includes critical care transport nurses, critical care respiratory therapists, paramedics, and EMTs. The StatGround neonatal specialty component teams up with our StatFlight pilot to provide emergency medical helicopter services for neonates up to 5kg.

St. Vincent Emergency Physicians Inc. has a dedicated EMS medical director with direct supervision of our EMS providers that serve Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital, the Hilbert Pediatric Emergency Department, and as needed, the St. Vincent Level I Trauma Center for children ages 15 years and older through adult.
