St. Vincent Pediatric Rehabilitation Services is a hospital-based program with certified physical and occupational therapists, speech therapists and audiologists and includes three dedicated pediatric rehab outpatient centers. Our child and teen-friendly therapy often includes toys and activities to make therapy fun. All of our services are family-centered and include teaching family members how to assist in the therapeutic progress of their child.

We have advanced protocols and tools to assist with all types of therapies. Aqua therapy, certified DAFO fittings for custom ankle and foot braces, and being a First Steps provider (a government funded program is for children with developmental delays) are a few of our specialized resources. Many St. Vincent pediatric therapists have extensive training in neuro-developmental treatment for children who have movement difficulties related to the central nervous system. Early intervention specialists are also available to help with the transition between physical and emotional goals. We also have autism social group therapy sessions.

We treat therapeutically acute muscle and bone sprains, strains, fractures, and orthopedic interventions, as well as, Autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, Neuromuscular disorders, Cerebral palsy, cancer survivorship, communication problems, developmental delays, sensory processing disorders, feeding and swallowing problems, spinal cord injuries, genetic disorders, language-based hearing difficulties, traumatic brain injury, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, infant wryneck (torticollis), and infant mis-shapen head.
